What the number means

Sell-through rate measures demand relative to competition — something a raw sold count can't. A high rate means most of what gets listed actually sells, so there's room for you. For the full breakdown of what counts as a good rate and how to use it, read eBay sell-through rate explained.

Sell-through rate FAQ

How do you calculate sell-through rate?

Sell-through rate = (sold listings ÷ total listings) × 100. For example, 300 sold out of 500 total listings is a 60% sell-through rate. Measure both over the same time window — a rolling 30 days works well on eBay.

What is a good sell-through rate on eBay?

As a rough guide: under 40% is oversupplied, 40–60% is workable, 60–100% is healthy, and over 100% (items selling faster than they're listed) signals strong, under-served demand.

Is this sell-through rate calculator free?

Yes, it's free with no sign-up. It runs in your browser and nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.
